Advertising In FB Publications
Between the Furrows and Outside the Furrows are publications reporting agricultural news and activities in
Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley and are the only local agricultural publications serving the area. Farm
Bureau works to promote and protect agriculture as it is a vital ingredient and mainstay of our local economy.
Between the Furrows (12 pages), circulation approximately 800, is sent monthly to farm families, support businesses,
libraries, chambers of commerce and elected officials. Outside the Furrows (4 pages), circulation approximately
1,000, is published every other month for our non-farm families.

The Santa Cruz County Farm asks for sponsorships of the following events during the year:
National Agriculture Day Luncheon
National Agriculture Day is a special time for the public to celebrate agriculture’s contribution to the community.
The Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau and Agri-Culture celebrate this special day in March by sponsoring the National Ag Day
Luncheon. During this event, we present the “Al Smith Friend of Agriculture Award”, the Jimmie Cox Memorial Scholarship
and announce the student winners of the Poster Contest and Poetry Contest. For more information, please contact the

National Ag Day Placemats
The Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau sponsors a poster contest as part of the National Agriculture
Day celebration for children in grades K through 6 in Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley.
The theme of the poster contest is “Grown in Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley”. Annually
we print approximately 16,000 placemats, highlighting the winning poster, which are distributed to
restaurants throughout Santa Cruz County. These placemats are made possible by local sponsorships.
Your company name will be printed on the placemat and publicized at our National Agriculture Day Luncheon.
The levels of sponsorship are: $250, $500, $1,000 and $2,500.
Annual Dinner Meeting
The Annual Dinner Meeting is held in July. Each year at this event, the Santa Cruz County Farm
Bureau recognizes the Farmer of the Year and the Farm Family of the Year. Sponsorship levels for
the Annual Dinner Meeting are $250, $500, $1,000 and $2,500. Your name will be prominently displayed
on all event literature.
The 12th Annual Golf Tournament
The golf tournament, which is co-sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau and Agri-Culture,
is held in July. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. The sponsorships for this event are shared
by both organizations. Agri-Culture is a 501(c)(3) organization, which means that one-half of your sponsorship
is a tax deductible donation. The levels of sponsorship are:
